Over-exertion (Not Elsewhere Classified)

A truck driver was walking into the East Ramp (access 1) from the main haulage. He saw an LHD unit coming out of a heading toward him. The driver then turned to walk back to his truck. When he turned his body, his left foot was firmly planted on the ground and he felt popping in his ankle. By turning quickly his left ankle and fibula broke.

Caught in, under or between a moving and a stationary object

Miner was lifting a metal lid on a dynominer machine when he lost control of the lid and it dropped on his finger smashing it between the lid and the machine frame. The injury was diag. and treated with notification on 11/16/10 at which time it became a medical reportable injury.
