Contact with hot objects or substances

Worker was welding in a chute, positioned on his side. A piece of hot slag entered his helmet and hit him in the right eye. It burned his eye lid and his eye.

Over-exertion (Not Elsewhere Classified)

Employee was adjusting the position of an iron chute on a pair of sawhorses when the sawhorse moved and the chute fell against the employee's knee. The weight caused his knee to give out.

Contact with hot objects or substances

Worker was cutting metal with a cutting torch when the hot metal popped and went into his left ear. Worker wiped his ear and continued to work.
