Over-exertion (Not Elsewhere Classified)

EE was replacing take-up pulleys on conveyor in a crouched/bent over position. When he stood up he felt pain in rt knee. He was in position for 1 hr+ & did NOT slip or fall, he twisted knee wrong. He had surgery on rt knee 1/26/05. Lt. duty until 2/7/05.

Struck by... (Not Elsewhere Classified)

EE was cutting out flexco fasteners on a conveyor belt & was kneeling on the belt. He plugged in the die grinder & didn't look to see that it was switched ""ON"". The grinder started & cut his knee twice above the right knee. He went to the ER & received stitches & returned to work remaining shift.
