A miner was removing excess material from a conveyor belt and suffered a heat illness (heat exhaustion). Other miners were present and were unsure of the affected miners sickness, so EMS was called as a precaution. The affected miner was hospitalized for apprx 3 hours and was administered fluids and IV.
Miner was pouring hydraulic fluid from a 5 gallon pail into the bulk tank on a piece of equipment, when a muscle pulled in his lower back. Miner has a pulled lower back muscle.
