Employee was changing a halogen fixture on the 33 shovel, and as he pulled the fixture out of the housing, the broken bulb filaments made contact with the frame he was holding, causing electric shock and burn to a finger on his right hand. He was taken to the ER, admitted for observation. Employee had failed to unplug the light prior to starting work.

CAME IN CONTACT WITH ENERGIZED CIRCUIT (4160 V) WHILE WORKING ON CABLE IN JUNCTION BOX OF #29 SHOVEL - FAILED TO PULL FUSES ON POLE, TOUCHED BOX LIK AND INSULATOR WITH WRENCH.
EMPLOYEE DISENGAGED THE DISCONNECT BOX TO PRIMARY CRUSHER AND THE CONTACTS ARCHED ACROSS AND BURNED HIS HAND.
