Employee was closing DC disconnect when it flashed and burned his wrist. He was taken to the ER, had the burn dressed and given restrictions for no lifting. Currently ONGOING.

The operator of the 121 haul truck pulled into the K86 to delay for a blast. The operator exited the cable to observe the blast, and leaned on the grid box and received an electrical shock. He was taken to the ER and taken off work for 2 days. Currently Ongoing.

Employee was changing a halogen fixture on the 33 shovel, and as he pulled the fixture out of the housing, the broken bulb filaments made contact with the frame he was holding, causing electric shock and burn to a finger on his right hand. He was taken to the ER, admitted for observation. Employee had failed to unplug the light prior to starting work.
