VICTIM WS HELPI8NG THE MECHANIC START DIESEL EQUIPMENT. AFTER JUMP STARTING A ROCK TRUCK HE RAISED THE BATTERY COVER TO REMOVE THE BOOSTER CABLES. WHEN HE RAISED THE LID THE BATTERY BLEW UP. ACID WENT IN HIS EYES AND FRAGMENTS FROM THE BATTERY CASE CUT HIS FACE.
EMPLOYEE WAS OPERATING MINER AND WAS STRUCK BY ELECTRICAL FLASH FROM THE CONTROL PANEL OF THE MINER. THIS RESULTED IN BURNS TO THE LEFT ARM AND LEFT SIDE OF THE FACE.
