While working with a torch to cut a steel pipe that was apaproximately 12" from the highwall and anchored at the top. The pipe moved away from the highwall approximately 20" and dislodged rock. Several rocks fell, one striking injury on the head knocking his hard hat off. A second rock fell striking him on the head, causing a laceration.
