INJURED STATED THAT HE WAS TRAVELING THE MOBILE BRIDGE CONVEYOR WHEN A COAL RIB BLEW-OUT FORCING HIM INTO THE MBC. THE MBC WAS IDLE BECAUSE INJURED WAS THE OPERATOR AND HE HAD BEEN TO THE SECT ION TAILPIECE AND WAS RETURNING TO HIS WORK STATTION. INJURY OUTBY THE PILLAR LINE.

INJURED STATED THAT HE WAS SHOVELING SOME LOOSE MATERIAL THAT HAD FELL FROM THE RIB WHEN ANOTHER SMALL PIECE FELL FROM THE RIB AND STRUCK HIM ON THE SIDE AND TOP AREA OF THE LEFT FOOT. INJURIE D'S X RAYS FOUND NO BROKEN BONES. THE MINING HEIGHT WAS AROUND 5 FEET.
