A HIGHWALL SLOUGHED SENDING ROCKS TO THE CENTER OF THE BOXCUT. EE WAS LEAVING THE AREA IN THE CABLE TRUCK(TERRAGATOR) AND A ROCK HIT SQUARELY ON TOP OF THE DRIVERS COMPARTMENT. THE TERRAGATO R WAS EQUIPPED WITH ROPS BUT NOT FOPS SO THE ROOF GAVE WAY AND HE WAS PINNED IN THE SEAT BY THE ROCK. HE SUFFERED MULTIPLE INJURIES INCLUDING A CRUSHED T9 VERTEBRA,BROKEN SHOULDER & LUNGS.
