Employee was reaching for a roof bolt plate when a piece of draw rock fell, striking his left fore finger. He was taken to ST. Joseph Martin Hospital and received X-rays. It was determined that a small piece of metal from the plate had penetrated his finger and that he would receive surgery later to have it removed.
