WHILE BACKING THE CONTINUOUS MINER OUT OF THE FACE A ROCK FELL ON THE RIPPERS FORCING IT DOWN AND THROWING THE INJURED AGAINST THE CANOPY. THE INJURED'S HEAD & SHOULDER WERE BRUISED. THE INJUR ED RETURNED TO WORK ON 9-1-89 AND DID NOT START MISSING WORK UNTIL 9-5-89.
