A PIECE OF ROCK MEASURING 2" AT THICK END & A FEATHER EDGE BY 16' WIDE STRUCK HIS HARD HAT MOVING THE HAT DOWN HIS LEFT FOREHEAD CAUSING AN ABRASIVE CUT TO HIS FOREHEAD AND LEFT UPPER LIP.

THE INDIVIDUAL WAS HELPING TO REPLACE A HYDRAULIC HOSE ON HIS ROOF BOLTER MACHINE. A PIECE OF SLATE TYPE ROCK FELL FROM OVER HEAD CAUSING HIM TO DODGE HIS HEAD SIDEWAYS AND HE STRUCK THE CORN ER OF A SIDE LIGHT ONT HE MACHINE WITH HIS RIGHT CHEECK OF HIS FACE. RESUTLING IN A CUT APPROX 1/2 INCH LONG.
