Employee was walking on lower floor level in the Process Bldg. and a small amount of acid from an abandoned overhead acid pipeline system dripped onto employee's right lower arm. The line has not been used for over 5 years. Employee suffered a 2nd degree burn on his right lower arm
EMPLOYEE'S WERE ATTEMPTING TO FREE, BUILT UP SLAG AND DEBRIS FROM WEST WALL #2 GRATE PREHEAT AREA. EMPOYEE INVOLVED WAS HOLDING JACK HAMMER STEEL AND BEFORE STARTING MATERIAL FELL FROM ABOVE CAUSING BRUISING AND SCRAPING TO LEFT LEG AND SHIN.
