WHILE USING A C6TTING TORCH TO REMOVE STEEL STAIRS FROM CATWALK, THE INJURED WAS BURNED AT ABOMNINAL AREA. ACCIDENT LOCATION WAS OUTDOORS DURING HIGH WINDS. SLAG WAS BLOWN UPWARD AND IGNITED T HE WORKERS JACK9T. HE STATED HE HAD DIFFICULTY REMOVING HIS JACKET, PROLONGING EXPOSURE TO THE BURNING CLOTH.
