EE was drilling & needed to rack dirt off of shot hole. He got the hoe attached to the back of drill, pulling it to the front. It got hung up; he pulled harder, straining the muscles in his neck.

Showing all 9Employee was working on a 1100 Komatsu excavator installing a press pin. The press slipped smashing his right hand and index finger.
While helping mechanic, emp. spilled Mineral Spirits on his right thigh, he did nothing at that time, 1 hour later he washed the area, but it had burned his skin by this time.
Employee said he opened the radiator cap on D11R dozer before letting it cool down enough, hot fluids spewed causing 1st and 2nd degree burns on his right arm, the right side of his chest and the right side of his face under his eye.
Injured and two other mechanics were steam cleaning the swing motor on the PC650. They had to remove a panel of PC650 to get to the swing motor which they placed on hood of PC650. The panel then fell off hood and hit employee in calf of right leg. He was transported by ambulance to Logan Regional Medical Center.
EE was helping welder weld cutting blade on the grader, while cutting off the old blade a piece of metal from the blade came off and hit the tire, bounced off the tire and hit ee on the right thigh.
Employee picked up oxygen tank by the lid, it come off hitting employee in lower lip, cutting his lip inside, the lid was to big and didn't fit the tank proper he went to logan regional healthcore, he got 4 stitucehs in lower lip, was told to return to work on 6-2-03.
EE SAID THAT HE HAD PICKED UP 2 40-50 LB. WET BAGS OFF THE TRACK AND CARRIED THEM OVER TO THE DRILLED HOLES, HE SAID; THAT HE HAD SET ONE OF THE BAGS DOWN TO DUMP THE OTHER BAG AND WHEN HE TURNED TO PICK-UP THE 2ND BAG AFTER DUMPING THE 1ST HE HAD A SHARP PAIN GO UP HIS BACK. DAMAGE TO HIS BACK UNKNOWN AS OF YET.
LIFTING CONNECTOR BLOCK INTO PLACE BETWEEN BLADE AND PUSHARM. PULLED RIGHT LOWER BACK MUSCLE.
