HE WAS ASSISTING ON THE DISASSEMBLY OF THE JOY 14CM-3 CUTTER GEAR CASE. DURING THE TEAR DOWN PROCESS, HE LEANED OVER AND PICKED UP THE RING GEAR ASSEMBLY WHEN HE EXPERIENCED PAIN IN HIS LOWER BACK. THE WEIGHT OF THE RING GEAR ASSEMBLY AND THE POSITION THAT HE WAS IN WHEN HE LIFTED THE RING GEAR IS PROBABLE CAUSE OF INJURY.
