EE AND HIS SUPERVISOR WERE CHECKING THE DRAG CABLES ON THE DRAGLINE FOR BROKEN WIRES. THE EE FOUND A BROKEN WIRE AND ATTEMPTED TO BREAK THE WIRE OFF BY BENDING THE WIRE BACK AND FORTH. AS HE W AS DOING THIS, HE SUSTAINED A LACERATION TO HIS RIGHT INDEX FINGER.

AS THE EE WAS BEGINNING TO PICK UP A CHAIN LINK FROM THE BED OF A MAINTENANCE TRUCK, HIS RIGHT HAND SLIPPED OFF THE LINK CAUSING THE LINK TO PPINCH THE FINGERS OF HIS LEFT HAND BETWEEN THE LIN K & BED SUSTAINING THE INJURY.
