Miner was working in a dusty environment while changing a belt scraper. He complained of dust getting in his eyes. He flushed them with water but the irritation continued. He was examined by a MD; nothing in the eye. The Dr. issued the miner a prescription for medication. The miner was released to full duty at the conclusion of the exam.
Miner was shoveling dirt when a foreign object became lodged in his eye. Ophthalmologist removed the foreign object using a slit lamp. Antibiotic eye drops were prescribed.
The employee was using the left hand fingers to align a piece of grating suspended from a crane, and an I-Beam. One of the fingers got pinched betwen the grating and the I-beam. The finger sustained a fracture and a contusion.
