EE's were loading shot under suprvision of blaster. They wre running an air compressor to blow water from previous days rain out of holes drilled in bench. Previous rain on lip above & vibration from compressor caused several rock to fall striking EE on leg.

EE was reaching for a piece of scrap metal that was in a trailer made from a pick up box when he heard/felt a pop on left rib. note: due to previous auto injury, ee has had 2 cervical vertabrae fused, which makes for limited motion when reaching.

EE WAS REHANGING A TAIL PULLY GUARD. EARLIER IN YEAR REPAIRS HAD BEEN MADE TO GUARD. THE PIECE OF SCREEN FLOPPED DOWN, CATCHING HIS THUMB BETWEEN THE SCREEN AND FRAMEWORK.

EQUIPMENT HAD BEEN SHUT DOWN BECAUSE SHAFT BROKE. EE WAS CLEARING ROCK FROM JAW BY HAND. HE MOVED A ROCK BUT IT SLIPPED AND FELL BACK AGAINST HIS HAND, CRUSHING FINGER BETWEEN TWO ROCKS.
