The miner was changing a bearing on the head pulley of a conveyor. When EE loosened the pillow block bearing the shaft popped up striking EE in the palm of EE's left hand causing a laceration which required stitches.

The miner was lifting a piece of steel for one of the conveyors in the quarry. While lifting the piece of steel they felt a pop in right arm/shoulder.
