Showing all 4Miner reported 11/07/2022 had a pain in groin area that went away 30 min later. 2 weeks later EE was lifting a clump of clay and felt a sharp pain again in groin and hurt to walk. 11/8/2022 we sent them to see a doctor and was diagnosed with a hernia and released to return to work with the restrictions.
Maintenance employee was changing brush on mobile sweeper. While picking up the brush they strained and felt some pain in groin area. This straining caused a hernia on the right side of groin area.
Operator was hooking up super sack with rubber strap. Pulled on rubber strap while stepping off of scale. Lost grip on rubber strap causing strap to re-coil striking operator in the right eye resulting scratches to eye, small cut above the eye.
