Injury along with other employee was removing a transmission pump from a D11R dozer. He had hooked the pump with a sling onto the boom of his mechanic truck and was in the process of lifting the pump out of the dozer. The pump caught on something and fell, hitting him on the right side of head and right shoulder. Taken to ER-no broken bones, worked until 6/21/2010, LTA

Showing all 5Employee was trying to remove a large sandstone rock from feeder belt. While lifting he felt a sharp pain in left side of groin. He went to Dr. on 2-8-08 and did not miss any work until 2-21-08 at which time he had surgery to repair a rupture. At this time employee has not returned to work.
Employee was removing tailgate from a John Deere articulating truck. He had secured a chain to the tailgate and an excavator to take the pressure off of the pin holding the gate. He decided to cut the bolt that holds the pin. After cutting the bolt the tailgate swung, striking the employee in the back on his right side just above his hip.
Bleeding brakes on Terex truck. Hot brake fluid sprayed on left hand, fingers causing burn.
EE was repairing a flat tire on the rear of a low-boy trailer unit. The EE removed the tire and after making repairs was inflating with enough air to seat the lock ring, the lock ring blew off striking ee in the chin leaving a 4-6 inch cut. Received several stitches.
