On 5/20/13 a miner was blowing in the end of a drill steel to see if it was plugged. His partner turned around and accidentally hit the steel, injuring the miner's tooth. First aid was given initially, but the miner requested further treatment on 6/3/13 after the condition did not improve.

While lifting a trashcan full of shop waste a "pop" sound was heard from the right elbow/bicep area of the miner's arm.
