Employee was placing wheel hub on its side to install wheel studs. Employee smashed finger between hub & block of wood.
Employee cleaning out a chute on the jaw crusher and when he went to close the door, he accidentially smashed his finger in the door.
Changing out wear liners in crusher, took out a bolt and liner fell out, smashing the ring finger between the liner and a breaker bar. Damage was to the tip of the finger, which broke the tip and took 5 stitches to sew up.
Employee reported on 6/12/2007 that he hurt his back on 6/9/2007 while working on the plant, but only mentioned that his back is sore and that it probably would work itself out. On 6/15/2007 employee told his supervisor that his back still hurt and that he wants to go see a doctor.
