Showing all 10Miner felt a sting in his left shoulder. Administered first aid: ice packs and heat treatments. On 3/20/14 employee mentioned the first aid was not working enough. He was sent to occupational health clinic for evaluation. He was released with some restrictions and requires physical therapy. This makes it a medical treatment injury with no lost time days.
Prod Supt received voice mail message from employee on Sunday 10/20/13 that employee was going to the doctor for eye irritation. Metal had to be removed from eye at a local medical facility. No incident or specific event was reported on employee's last shift 10/18/13. The incident is still being investigated.

Employee was popping hatches the previous night. On his drive home after shift's end, he noticed his shoulder was sore. When he awoke the next morning he couldn't move his arm up to a certain height because of pain in his shoulder.
Shift repairman was pulling on dredge discharge hose. He was changing the discharge hose from one dredge to another. Felt a pull or strain in upper left arm.
Employee was operating a fork lift in order to carry a pallet of parts to job site to make repairs. A bearing housing was starting to slip, so employee stopped the fork lift, lowered the pallet and got off to secure the load. While pushing the bearing housing back on to pallet, he mashed his finger between the housing and the pallet. This caused his finger to be mashed.
Employee was loading a bottle of oxygen onto mait. truck and pulled muscle.
