Showing all 4While removing bowl assembly was nudging cylinder to make contact. Employee completed task 20 times, each time removing hand prior to pushing. He then rested hand on the rear of the cylinder. As it pushed, his finger was between it and another cylinder. It rotated pinching the end of the pinky finger. He lost the end 3/4" tip of his finger.
Shoveling frozen stemming
EE was cleaning out the back of the pickup at behind the shop. Using his gloved hand he started to brush some trash and debris into a pile when he felt a stabbing pain in his right ring finger. X-rays revealed a sliver of glass that had to be removed by a hand specialist. Employee returned to work on restricted duty.
