Employee was emptying bags of cement in the dry pot machine and had all his PPE on. Employee started to sweat and the sweat ran down thru his goggles and into his eyes. After the task was completed, he took his goggles off and rubbed his left eye irritating it.

Showing all 3Employee picked up a full can of welding rod by grasping the sharp edge of the top. The weight of the can caused the sharp edge to cut through employee's leather glove and into his left index finger. He received 5 sutures.
Employee was re-assembling a core tube, when he was inserting the second piece of the the split tube it was unusually tight fitting. Employee then tried to push the split in with his right hand while wearing wet gloves. His hand slipped and his right wrist struck the edge of the split tube causing a laceration to the wrist.
