Employee was working in an awkward position trying to replace a bad hydraulic hose for multiple hours. EE was laying on EE's stomach and reaching into the access door. After work was completed, employee reported a back strain.
EE reached out with EE's left arm to lift up a rolled up hose hanging on a hook at 6' 4" and felt a pop in EE's elbow. When EE sat the hose down EE's elbow popped again.

Employee wash unplugging a caustic line and got liquid on their pants causing a caustic burn. Employee went for a follow up appointment on 04/26/2025 and was put off work for one day.

Employee was changing out a leaf spring & when it broke free it pinched employee's hand requiring 13 stitches.
Employee was putting away tools, climbed up on the tool truck, felt a shock as EE's right knee touched the tool trip. EE reactively stood up and hit head on the mine roof. Employee was taken to the ER as a precautionary measure and fully released on 6/19/24. Due to persistent shoulder pain, EE received an MRI and was put off work for further medical evaluations on 7/29/24.

Employee was dismantling a cable handler, when the cable handler slipped pinching employee's finger causing a laceration and partial amputation of the pinky finger.
Employee was steadying box when the box fell, pinching EE's hand causing a fracture. Employee was returned to work with no restrictions later referred to a specialist and prescribed work restrictions on 11/1/23.

On April 30th while lifting a heater, an employee experienced pain in their shoulder. The employee continued to work but the pain did not ease. EE consulted an orthopedist and had an MRI which diagnosed an injury requiring medical treatment. The employee has been off work since 5/19/21, making this a recordable injury.

The involved employee (IE) was passing a scaffold pole to a co-worker that was working from the scaffold. Due to the tight area IE had to pass the pole up next to a cable tray. As the co-worker began to lift the pole the pin snagged on the cable tray. This resulted in the pole being dropped and struck the right hand of the IE causing a fracture.
