Showing all 4Worker was performing maintenance on their excavator. While doing so, EE was struck/pinned between the grapple attachment and excavator track. The worker sustained severe injury to the left hip, upper left leg and lower left leg.
The employee was taking a nut off the head of the crusher when the nut fell hitting EE in the right forearm below the elbow causing a cut requiring 8 stitches.
Employee went to enter into his tool truck to retreive a tool. As he stepped into his truck, he twisted his knee, feeling a pop and pain.
