While attempting to free a piece of stuck cardboard from a conveyor the employee held on with their hands and attempted to jump up and dislodge it with their feet. Employee pulled themselves forward and stomped down hitting their left shin and knee against a steel beam.

Showing all 2While relacing a conveyor belt, pulled the conveyor together and it slid onto the employee's left leg resulting in a bruise. In order to be safe, we sent the employee to medical to be evaluated for further injury. No additional injury was reported and the employee was informed to ice and rest. Employee was ordered to continue working with modification for 7 days.
