Showing all 12The employee was moving a copper cathode from scale when the cathode slipped off bundle and struck employee in the top center of left foot. Initial examination determined that the employees foot sustained a contusion. He was released back to work with limited restrictions.
EE was removing wear plate bolt, the wear plate fell and a sharp edge cut his right middle finger. EE needed stitches. Crew EE works with didn't return to work until 4/24/10.
Was pulling water pipe and felt a pain in his back

While loading steel onto the bucket of a skid steer, a piece of metal fell off, striking employee on the left foot.
Cut 4th finger on right hand while removing rock from tailgate of 10 wheeler dump. Received stitches @ Benson Hospital. Was released to return to work
