EE IS AN OPERATOR IN PACKAGING PLANT. A 50# BAG OF SALT WAS RIPPED IN THE FILLING PROCESS. EE REMOVED IT FROM THE BELT & TURNED & THREW IT INTO THE WASTE HOPPER INSTEAD OF CARRYING IT OVER TO HOPPER. WHEN HE THREW THE BAG, HE FELT A BURNINGIN HIS LOWER RT ABDOMEN & LATER DEVELOPED A LUMP (HERNIA) WHICH HE PUSHED BACK IN. HE'S SCHEDULED FOR REPAIR SURGERY 4/2/02.
