WAS PULLING A FOOT VALVE TO BE REPLACED INTO WATER WHILE PULLING HE STRAINED HIS LOWER BACK. HE DIDN'T WAIT FOR HELP BUT TRIED TO DO IT ON HIS OWN. DID NOT NOTIFY THIS OFFICE UNTIL 11/18/93 ON RETURNING TO WORK.
