Employee was putting a shop rag into the haul truck's door to stop the "rattling" sound and when closing the door, they had slammed the door on their right middle finger.
Employee was lifting a 70lb battery from a pickup truck into the cabinet of an excavator. No pain was noted at the time, but later in the evening while taking a shower, employee noticed a protruding lump on the right side around the belt/waistline area. This has since been diagnosed as a hernia and surgery has been scheduled.
