Showing all 19While removing a length of frozen pipe. The pipe slipped and pinched EE's left thumb between the pipe and a block wall. X-Rays were taken and a hairline fracture was seen next to the knuckle. The miner was given a splint to wear to reduce movement.
Employee was doing general maintenance at the crusher, employee strained back installing flashing at cone crusher. Sought medical attention on own. Continued to work normal shifts. Was not reported until 12/29/20. Visited Dr. on 12/28/20. Could return to work on 12/30/20.

WHILE EMPLOYEE WAS USING DINGY TO REMOVE SPILLAGE OF SAND AT THE SILOS AND SHOVELING SAND, HE MOVED A WATER HOSE AND INJURED HIS LOWER BACK.

EMPLOYEE WAS INSERTING GLASS PIPETTE INTO PIPETTE PUMP AND IT SHATTERED CUTTING FINGER.
