RNS Services Inc · Over-exertion in lifting objects

EE was working with a pump at RNS Services Dilltown site. Upon completion of this job He felt slight pain and discomfort in his back. The next morning He was not able to report to work due to severe pain in his back. HE did go to Miners Hospital for treatment on 5/29/08.

Previous to this report date, employee was lifting a steel plate onto a truck. after placing this plate on the truck, he felt a slight strain in his lower abdomen. After work he noticed a bulge in his lower left side. On July 8 it was determined that it was a hernia. He is not to report to work until cleared by his physician.
