EMPLOYEE WAS DISMOUNTING FRONT END LOADER DURING REPAIR PROCEDURES. ACCESS LADDER ADN GRAB IRONS WERE IN GOOD CONTITION AND EMPLOYEE WAS MAINTAINING 3-POINTS OF CONTACT. AS HE DESCENDED THE LO ADER HIS HAND SLIPPED. HE TRIED TO GRAB A RUNG OF THE LADDER AND WAS CUT BY THE SHARP EDGE OF THE RUNG.

EMPLOYEE WAS REMOVING IR CONDITIONING UNIT IN ENGINE COMPARTMENT OF BACKHOE. REPAIR WORK WAS DIFFICULT DUE TO LIMITED WORK SPACE. AS HE WAS LOWERING UNIT IT SLIPPED AND FELL ON A SMALL COOLA NT HOSE WHICH BROKE LOOSE, ALLOWING HOT COOLANT TO SPRAY. TO AVOID THE COOLANT, HE MADE A SUDDEN MOVE WHICH STRAINED SOME LOWER BACK MUSCLES.
