A BUCKET OF PLASTER CAME UP THE FEEDER AND AS THE EE GRABBED THE BUCKET OFF THE DRAG CHAIN IT FELL ON HIS RIGHT FOOT CAUSING HIM TO HAVE A BRUISED FOOT AND CRUSHED TENDONS.

THE INJURED WAS IN THE PROCESS OF BRAKING A LUMPOF COAL WITH A 12LB SLEDGE HAMMER AT THE 001-0 WORKING SECTIONS LOADING POINT. AS HE STRUCK THE COAL WITH THE SLEDGE HAMMER HE CAUGHT HIS RIGHT HAND BETWEEN THE SEALER AND THE HANDLE OF THE SLEDGE OF THE SLEDGE HAMMER.
