Employee was attempting to remove an insert out of EE's drill steel. EE was beating out EE's steel when EE felt a pop in EE's right elbow. Doctor's restrictions took EE off work on 5/27/2026.

Employee was roof bolting and dropped wrench on EE's left pinky toe. This resulted in a fracture of left pinky toe.

Employee was dragging jumper cable in the battery barn to change batteries. Employee injured their right hamstring and was taken off due to the restrictions from a doctor on 3/10/2026.

Employee was installing a roof bolt. When they fully extended their arm and pushed the bolt up, they felt a pop and a burning sensation in their left shoulder.

Employee was pulling up miner cable for a pull back and was moving cable from the middle of the entry to the rib. They then felt a sharp pain shoot down left calf muscle. Doctor's restrictions took them off work on 11/13/2025.

Employee was walking towards EE's work partner. EE's partner was tearing down a curtain just outby the unit tail piece. As the employee turned the corner something struck EE in the right eye.

Employee was walking through the bulk dust in the belt line and felt a pop in EE's right knee.

Employee was lancing a shear jack pin when the rod shot out causing burns to their left thumb, index finger, middle fingers and palm of their left hand.

Employee was putting up a 6ft bolt when it caught on the hog panel. They went to push up harder on the bolt and felt a pop in their right shoulder. The employee continued to work full duty until they went off for surgery on 12/9/2025.

I.E. was installing roof bolts. As employee was putting glue into the hole they had just drilled they felt a pull and a burning feeling in left bicep and shoulder. I.E. was taken off work after doctor's restrictions limited use of left arm on 8/25/2025.

I.E. was lifting rub rail on continuous miner to put back into place. As the I.E. raised the bar they felt a pop in their left elbow. I.E. continued to work until doctor's restrictions took them off work on 8/7/2025.

I.E. was handling cables during a belt move. They started feeling tingling in both hands along with numbness and elbow pain. Doctor took the I.E. off work on 7-30-2025.

I.E. was hooking up cable strap to the tail of the CM. While lifting the cable and the strap, they felt a pain in their right shoulder. Doctors restrictions took them off work on 4-3-2025.

I.E. and another employee were attempting to chain up a drive shaft on a haul truck to be able to pull the down equipment out of the way. While holding the driveshaft up, the weight shifted and the driveshaft fell on the I.E.'s left hand bending back their wrist causing a fracture.

I.E. was helping hang 2" air and discharge line. As they reached up to hang the pipe from the roof, they felt a pop in their left calf. Doctor's restrictions took the I.E. off on 3-12-2025.

Employee was hanging CM cable and waterline. As they raised the cable they felt a pop in their right elbow. Employee continued to work until they had surgery on 9/16/2025.

I.E. and another employee were hanging high voltage cable from the mine roof. As they were picking up the cable to hang it, the I.E. felt a pop in their left shoulder. I.E. continued to work until a doctor took them off for surgery on 5-12-2025.

I.E. was dropping miner cable to reroute. When in the process of letting cable down, they cable all began to fall. The cable struck the I.E. in the head and shoulder knocking them down into the battery scoop that was next to them. This caused a concussion.

I.E. was taking covers off roof bolter to repair suction line. As they lifted a cover, they felt a pop in their right elbow. I.E. was taken off by a doctor the same day for a strain.

I.E. was doing a pan and bushing job on a continuous miner. They were leaned over with their hand on the floor trying to eyesight and line up the holes on the pan. As they were moving the pan, the pin fell off the truck next to them and struck them on top of the right hand causing a fracture an laceration in right index finger.

I.E. was stacking blocks to build a stopping. When they turned with a block they felt a pop in their right knee. I.E. continued to work until a doctor took them off for surgery on 4-17-2024.

I.E. was adding cable to continuous miner. While repositioning the cable, it slipped from their grip. While reaching, their right forearm came in contact with an open knife in their other hand. Laceration required stitches. I.E. has not missed any work.

I.E. was walking between entries. Noticed a loop of cable lying in haul route. Bent over to pick up the cable and move it and felt a pop in their lower back. I.E. continued to work until doctor's restrictions took them off 1-25-2024.

I.E. was on a ladder gathering materials for their shift from the warehouse. They were reaching for and began to pull a roll of conduit off the shelf, when they felt a pop in their right bicep. Doctors have put I.E. on restricted duty as of 01-03-2024

I.E. was hanging continuous miner cable with other miners. As they were holding up the cable, I.E. felt a pop in their right wrist. Doctor's restrictions took the I.E. off work on 9-7-2023.

I.E. was setting up the CM to start cutting. As they were hanging cable across the entry they felt a sharp pain in their right shoulder. I.E. continued to work until a doctor took them off for surgery on 4-19-2024.

I.E. was lifting continuous miner cable to help hang it from the mine roof. When lifting with their right arm, they felt a pop in their right shoulder. I.E. continued to work until a doctor took them off for surgery on 1-11-2024.

IE had just finished drilling a hole with the roof bolter. As they were taking their steels out of the roof, a section fell catching their right pinky finger between the bottom of the steel and the bolt wrench. IE had the finger looked at the next day and found a small fracture in the end of the finger. IE has not missed any work. *IE was taken off work for surgery on 5/31/23.

I.E. was bolting a crosscut right. Foreign material got in behind the I.E.'s glasses going into their left eye. Material had to be removed by a doctor and eyedrops were prescribed. I.E. has not missed any days of work.

I.E. was working on a new belt drive installation. They were attempting to climb over the belt when they felt a pull in their right elbow. I.E. continued to work until 12-9-2022 when they decided they were unable to work due to the injury.

I.E. was helping move curtain and roof support jacks. The jack was too short so they were putting a timber butt at the top of the jack. As they were reaching up, they felt a sharp pain in their left shoulder. I.E. continued to work until doctor put them on restrictions on 9-20-2022. I.E. is continuing to work on restricted duty.

While changing tire on battery end of a coal hauler, I.E. was rocking the tire on the hub to align it. As they were rocking the tire, they felt a sharp burning pain in their right shoulder. I.E. has continued to work until doctors restrictions took them off 7-1-2022.

I.E. hung a bundle of screen wire on one end from the roof with a chain to load onto the roofbolter. They attempted to get a section of the chain out of the way from getting caught on the roofbolter, when the end of the bundle broke free of the screen wire it was hanging from and struck the I.E. on the right leg. Doctors restrictions have had them off starting 5-16-2022.

I.E. was extending the boom out on a service truck crane. As they were manually pulling out the boom, it slid all the way out of the frame. The top section of the boom fell and struck the I.E. on the right shoulder and arm. Doctor's restrictions have taken them off work.

I.E. was helping an OTR truck driver repair their auto tarp system. While trying to put a bolt in, the shaft grabbed the I.E.'s glove and pinched the end of their left index finger. This caused a laceration on the end of the finger that required four stitches. I.E. has not missed work.

I.E. was hooking up the charging lead to a coal hauler battery. As they were screwing the nip into the battery they felt a pop in their wrist along with numbness. I.E. continued to work until their doctor took them off work on 4-1-2022.

Employee was doing hot work underground. When they came up from their shift their left eye was irritated. After some time the employee went to the doctor where a piece of metal was discovered in their eye. Employee has not missed work. Reporting due to prescription eye drops.

I.E. was roof bolting outby on some rehabilitation work. After installing a bolt, a foreign material went behind the I.E.'s glasses and got into their eye. Employee has not missed work. Reporting due to prescription eyedrops.

I.E. was getting into a battery scoop to move it out of the haulage route. When they went to set the breaker up from inside the cab they felt a sharp pain in their left shoulder and arm. I.E. has not missed work. Reporting due to I.E. receiving a pain injection shot on 3-8-2022.

I.E. was lifting a sheet of screenwire over the canopy of a roofbolter to put on the ATRS. As they were lifting they felt a sharp pain run down their left shoulder. I.E. continued to work until doctor's restrictions took them off on 01-25-2022

I.E. was riding in a mantrip out of the mine. They were putting on a sweatshirt and neck gaiter while in the mantrip. As they were putting on the clothing they received a piece a rust into their right eye. Reporting due to I.E. being prescribed eyedrops. Employee has not missed work due to the injury.

I.E. was standing on a berm reaching down to pick up miner cable. As they reached down to pull cable out of haulage route, they felt a pop in their shoulder. I.E. continued to work until a doctor elected to do surgery on 6-22-2023 taking them off work.

I.E. and another miner were hanging miner cable across a crosscut. As the I.E. picked up the cable to hoist it up they felt a pop that caused a continuing burning sensation in their right shoulder. I.E. started missing work immediately after due to doctors restrictions.

I.E. was helping hang continuous miner cable across the last open crosscut. While hanging the cable I.E. felt a burning feeling in right shoulder. I.E. has continued to work until missing work on 9-30-2021 due to the injury.

I.E. was loading 6' roof bolts from the scoop bucket onto the roof bolter. As the I.E. lifted a handful of bolts to place on the roof bolter they felt a pop in their right shoulder along with a burning sensation. Upon further investigation the I.E. has a tear in their rotator cuff and is currently off work.

EE was attempting to clean mud out of their drill steel. While hitting the steel against the bolter drill pot, their hand slipped and came into contact with the drill wrench. Caused a fracture to their left hand. Employee has been taken off work by a specialist on 7-14-2021.

I.E. was replacing a piece of metal on a catwalk. After cutting the piece of metal and attempting to lift it up, they felt pain in their left pictorial and shoulder. I.E. has continued to work until being taken off for surgery on 11-04-2021.

I.E. and other miners were trying to set a set of overcast stairs in place. When they lifted the stairs using machinery, wire rope, and shive wheel, the welds where they had the stairs hooked to the rope broke. This caused the stairs to fall and strike the I.E.'s left foot causing fractures in their toes.

I.E. was attempting to load a 10' timber into the bed of a mantrip. When they picked up the timber and carried it 10-15' to the mantrip, they felt a pain in the left groin area. I.E. continued to work until needing surgery that took them off work on 4-30-2021.

I.E. pulled up to a sled to hook up to a diesel scoop. I.E. picked up a roller frame that was laying in front of the sled to move it out of the way. As the I.E. picked up the roller frame they felt and heard a pop in their right upper arm area. Doctor restrictions removed the I.E. from work on 3-12-2021.
