EE was tightening a turnbuckle on the #5 Head drive. As he was repositioning this arm, he struck a piece of metal on the oil bath of the drive resulting in a laceration which required 7 stitches.

Showing all 32EE was tramming feeder on belt move. Had to place crib blocks under it due to busted up bottom. Feeder slid off from crib blocks causing it to hit solid. EE's left ring finger was caught between lid and frame and pinched the end of his finger.
EE & co-worker were pulling piece of conveyor belt into new belt drive. The employees had installed a pulley onto a belt hanger. A steel cable was inserted through pulley & anchored onto conveyor belt being installed. As conveyor belt was being pulled, belt hanger broke allowing slack in steel cable which resulted in EE being struck in the back of the head with the steel cable.
Employee went to pick up an wet bag of seal garbage, when he felt burning pain in stomach. Employee did not go to a dr for medicare treatment until 2/11/2010. He had surgery on 2/12/2010.
Employee was disconnecting haulage trailer from tractor. As he pulled the pin out, the tongue slipped out and fell on the top part of his left foot.

EE was rolling a spool of cable off low-trac when it twisted and caughthis right arm & hand against the forks of the low-trac.
EE had gotten on his mine buggy to go outside. Without knowing it, his block hammer was hanging halfway out of his belt strap & had twisted around. He sat down on buggy seat & leaned back ont he blade of his hammer. The hammer cut his lower back a little to the right of his spin requiring 3 stitches.

EE WAS WALKING OFF SECTION BEHIND ANOTHER EE WHOWAS CARRYING A BELT CUTTING TOOL OVER HIS RIGHT SHOULDER. THE TOOL SNAGGED A PIECE OF PHONE WIREHANGING FROM A PIECE OF CABLE. THE WIRE FLEW BAC K AND HIT HIS RIGHT EYE.
EE WAS PULLING CABLE & FELT A SHARP PAIN IN HIS RIGHT SHOULDER & BICEP.
EE WAS KNEELING DOWN TO PUT A BELT PIN IN AND HIS RIGHT KNEE MADE A POPPING NOISE.
EMPLOYEE WAS INSERTING WIRE THRU ROOF BOLT PLATES TO HANG CABLE FROM WHEN A PIECE OF WIRE STRUCK HIM IN THE EYE.
EE WAS LOADING SUPPLIES ON ROOF BOLTER WHEN HE FELT A SHARP PAIN IN HIS LOWER BACK.
MOVING A PIECE OF METAL. PICKED IT UP TO THROW IT OUT OF THE WAY CAUGHT FINGER BETWEEN RIB AND PIECE OF METAL.
ACCORDING TO MEN I INTERVIEWED, EE SAID HE BENT OVER TO PICK UP A PULL ROPE AND HIT HIS MOUTH AGAINST THE STANDOFF OF THE MINER.
ROOF BOLT OPERATOR DROPPED A BOX OF GLUE THEN BENT OVER TO PICK IT UP STRAINING LOWER LUMBAR MUSCLES.
