Showing all 4Two mechanics were lifting center steering link. One mechanic slipped. As they were both letting go of center steering link, one employee held on too long and "strained" his back. Or appeared to strain his back. According to the witness he let go of steering link first. Mechanic strained back on 2/4/15. Did not notify supervisor until 2/7/15.
Moving rock truck tires and wheel rings with #703 excavator, while unhooking chain from several wheel rings, one of the wheel rings slipped down and caught left ring finger between tow of the wheel rings.
Putting torque in D-8 dozer & twisted back. He is still working, this was reported to me on 9/26/05.
