Showing all 3EE was cutting a conveyor belt with his box knife when his hand slipped and cut his leg. EE received 7 stitches and work release with restrictions (sedentary for next 4 days; no bending at knee for next 10 days) until stitches are removed 10 days later.
EE was changing loader teeth and according to co-worker who was working with him; EE took a hammer and tapped the loader tooth and a sliver of metal off the loader tooth penetrated his eye. EE was not wearing his safety glasses. We are uncertain of impairment at this time.
