Showing all 2A mechanic was a member of a team of mechanics installing a drive chain on a waste coal crushing machine. The chain was suspended using a choker cable and chain fall. As the mechanic adjusted the chain fall, the load/weight of the drive chain shifted resulting in the choker cable pinching and trapping the mechanic's left 4th finger in the chain fall hook.
