Working on a driveshaft center support bearing race, EE tried to crack the race with a hammer & chisel. A small metal shard pierced through his rubber glove, causing a small laceration on left palm. On-site first aid administered. Weeks later EE felt a bump on his palm. On 5/10/13, EE sought medical attention, foreign body material removed. EE received sutures.
