Employee was recovering/palletizing stone. At one point during that time employee removed safety glasses. Employee had a small rock fragment become lodged in eye while using a hammer recovering stone. Employee was brought to a medical facility after failing to remove on own. Examiner diagnosis was a lacerated cornea & was told not to go back to work until 12/06/21.
