employee was closing bottom of primary valve with turn bar, began spraying caustic, employee jumped to dodge spray, dropped turn bar on L foot, all PPE in place, was treated onsite, cleaned, ice wrapped, ibuprofen, after a week 09/12/2019, bruising and swelling diminished, still painful, trip to occ med shows small fracture of L great toe

Employee was with spreading hot Alumina to prep it for vacuuming. EE was using a 3" straight edge rake, to pull the material towards EE to spread it out. As EE did this, the material came towards EE like a wave and "blew" at EE causing it to go at EE's leg and run down into EE's boot, causing 2nd and 3rd degree burns to the top of EE's right foot to just above EE's ankle.
