EE WAS INVOLVED IN REPAIR OF THE #183 P & H 1550 LOADING HOE. HE HAD LOOSENED 2 BOLTS ON A COMPONENT AND AS THE THIRD BOLT BROKE LOOSE, HE FELL FORWARD SPRAWLING ACROSS SEVERAL HYDRAULIC HOSES . IT WAS AT THIS TIME THAT HE FELT A SHARP STABBING PAIN IN HIS SHOULDER, ARM AND HAND. INJURY ON 11-22-00 WAS DIAGNOSED AS A HERNIATED DISC BETWEEN 6TH AND 7TH VERTEBRAE.
