EE AND COWORKER WERE CLEANING OUT FINES CHUTE AT #2 STOKER PLANT WHEN A FROZEN LUMP OF COAL BROKE LOOSE AND HIT EE IN THE EYE. EYE WAS FLUSHED WITH EYEWASH AND EE WAS TAKEN TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM. (EE WAS BELOW COWORKER. COWORKER WAS USING PRY BAR TO CLEAR COAL. EE WAS NOT WEARING SAFETY GLASSES.)
EMPLOYEE WAS ATTEMPTING TO PRY BARGE STACKER BACK IN PLACE, WHEN STACKER SHIFTED BACK IN PLACE HE HAD PRESSURE ON PRY BAR. IT STRUCK HIM IN THE FOREHEAD CAUSING HIS HEAD TO SHIFT BACKWARDS, RE SULTING IN KNOT ON FOREHEAD AND HYPEREXTENDED NECK MUSCLES.
EE WAS BEATING A PIECE OF COAL OUT OF A SHUTE ON#2 SCREENING PLANT WITH A HAMMER WHEN A PIECE OFCOAL FLEW INTO HIS EYE.
