THE INJURED WAS CHANGING A HOSE ON THE 563 BACKHOE. THE 3/4 INCH END WRENCH SLIPPED OFF THE OILY HEAD AND PINCHED HIS FINGER BETWEEN THE STEEL SLEAVE OF THE HOSE AND WRENCH. THE BLOOD UNDER TH E FINGERNAIL WAS REMOVED BY A DR.

INJURED WAS STANDING ON THE FRAMEWORK OF H-2 TAIL PULLEY TIGHTENING A WEAR PLATE BOLT ON 202 SCREEN CHUTE. AS HE DID THIS HE SLIPPED AND STRUCK HIS RIBS ON A WATER PIPE ELBOW. HE GRACTURED TWO RIBS. THIS WAS DETERMINED ON 1-24-00, AFTER GOING TO SEE THE DOCTOR.
