EE was splicing a de-energized 5KV electrical cord using Green Lee cable cutters. EE's hand slipped while trying to steady the cable and EE cut EE's finger. EE sheared the nail and some skin off of EE's left thumb.

Showing all 5EE was using a utility knife to cut a conveyor belt. The knife slipped and he cut the top side of his thigh and needed four stitches, they will be taken out on Thursday and there is no loss off work or restrictions.
Employee was tightening bolts on stacker with a wrench. Wrench slipped free from his hand and struck his left cheek which resulted in a laceration that required 4 sutures. He is back at work today with a follow up appointment on February 16th to have sutures removed.
Employee was cutting a piece of belt and the knife slipped and cut the top of his left thumb. He had 2 or 3 sutures and came right back to work.
Worker was using hammer to loosen shaft coupling being disconnected from motor drive shaft of hydraulic pump on drilling rig platform. When swinging hammer, blow glanced off coupling and worker's hand hit shaft where he was holding the handle of hammer. Laceration of right hand index finger requiring five stitches. Limit use of right hand, no lifting over 10 pounds.
